Calling, They're Calling again, and I don't quite know when I'll get back to them, cos I'm sat here, in my shitty old flat, pretending to myself that I'm trying to get back. Get back, to the thoughts that I had, about the world, about the girl, about the man and his stack. But as much as I try and as much as I think, a chasm opens up and I think I'm on the brink.
Lying. At the bottom of this pit. with two pints of larger and a packet of crisps. Not to mention all the baggage, hanging from my eyes, weighing me down and I'd love to try and fight but I'm flat against the floor. No hope no cause, drool running down the side of my jaw. Cut back to the sofa, an intoxicated coma regurgitating lies with a sickly aroma.
